This sculpting gel is my go to with all of my structured gel manicures. I love the ease of using it - the self leveling properties are magical. My nails are very thin and flexible so I used this product to grow out my nails. Let me tell you, this is the best overlay/builder gel that I have ever used. It does not flood the cuticles and it levels beautifully. If applied thinly the gel does not cause heat spikes. My nails are pretty flat and I wanted to build a slight apex on my nail and the heat spike was very minimal. With other builder gels I would have to pull my hand out of the lamp numerous times, but not with Leafgel. I would absolutely buy this product again.

Great for overlays. Only downside is if you have much longer nails. A full extension set, or full overlay set on all ten fingers, might not be worth the price. Nails over an inch long, you might end up using well over half the jar on the first application. Other than that I love the consistency, leveling, and easy application.

So far, I am happy with the Leafgel products, particularly, this builder gel. I am brand new to the brand and to builder gels and did my first overlay recently with great success. There are imperfections but that's due to my being new to this and not a reflection of the product. The overlay has been going strong for the past two weeks, with minor lifting on one finger that I've attributed to either my technique and/or natural flex of of my natural nail (they are quite bendy) and not as a reflection of the product itself. Overall, I am happy with it. One thing I will say though, is that I doubt I'll continue using this long term due to the price. It is very pricey compared to some other quality brands, thus I plan to switch once my 8 gram pot is done. Obviously this will depend on individual preference and circumstance, but this would be the one con I see with this product. Otherwise, quality and performance wise, I'd certainly recommend.
