Working the magnet
Always over a cured base gel. Never on natural nail or skin.01
Base first
Apply and cure a base gel. Magnetic gel never goes on natural nail or skin.

One even coat
Apply the magnetic gel thinly and evenly; do not cure yet.

Hold the magnet
Hold a magnet 2–3 mm above the nail for 5–10 seconds to gather the particles into a line or curl.
04
Cure and seal
Cure UV 60s / LED 30s, then top coat. A second coat deepens the effect.

It's not completely clear, there's a noticeable gray cast. You can't tell when it's layered underneath a jelly color though, which is how I plan to use it.
Other than that, the magnet effect is silky smooth. You can't see the individual particles, just an even glow over the entire nail.
